Yavapai Point Panorama Looking East, Grand Canyon, Arizona
23 Jan 2010, Grand Canyon Village, Grand Canyon National Park, Grand Canyon, Arizona, USA --- Heavy snowfall from three successive record-breaking winter storms had closed all access to the Grand Canyon with the exception of Yavapai and Yaki Points. The good news is that if you can only have two viewpoints open, these two are hard to beat. Both locations command breathtaking 180 degree views of the canyon. The bad news is that these unobstructed views come with the consequence of complete exposure to the elements.
